Synopsis

After the civil war in Sierra Leone, longtime friends Benjamin and Bockarie return to their devastated hometown, Imperi. As more villagers come back, they attempt to rebuild their community as teachers, but face immense challenges including scarcity, crime, and a foreign mining company's destructive presence. The two friends must confront the uncertainties of their past and future as they strive to restore order to their fractured home.
