Queen & commander

In a future where high school test scores dictate every aspect of life, six students defy the system. Rhiannon, a brilliant student who outsmarts the Test to become a 'Hive Queen,' uses her influence to help her best friend Gwyn, whose results threaten to separate her from her love, Victor. Along with the wild card Gavin and loyal followers Luciano and Alan, they escape society aboard a questionably acquired spaceship, the Ceridwen's Cauldron, seeking freedom among the stars.
