Punk 57 completely consumed me. Once I started, I couldn't put it down—I absolutely devoured it.
What I loved most was how deeply Penelope Douglas explored emotions, identity, loneliness, and the need to be truly seen. While the characters are teenagers, the feelings they experience are universal. Insecurity, heartbreak, expectations, and the struggle to be your authentic self are things we all face, regardless of age.
The connection between Ryen and Misha was beautifully written. Their years of letters created such a unique and genuine bond, and watching that relationship evolve into something deeper was both emotional and addictive. The chemistry, tension, and character growth had me completely invested from beginning to end.
This was an unforgettable read that had me feeling everything, and it's easily one of those books I'll be thinking about long after turning the last page.
