Synopsis

Max Winters spends his days writing lurid Western pulp fiction to survive the Depression, spinning tales of an outlaw dispensing frontier justice. When Nazi spies and enemies from his own violent past resurface in New York, Max is forced to decide whether he can become the kind of man he's spent his career writing about.

Ed Brubaker and Sean Phillips frame Pulp as both a hardboiled thriller and a meditation on a life built around violence, set against the gathering storm of a world on the edge of war.
