Synopsis

Now that Lara Jean and Peter Kavinsky have decided to make their fake relationship real, she's learning that being someone's actual girlfriend is far more complicated than pretending. A leaked video from a school ski trip, Peter's tangled history with his ex Genevieve, and Lara Jean's own inexperience all conspire to make her doubt where she stands.

Then a reply arrives to one of her old letters: John Ambrose McClaren, the sweet, thoughtful boy she once loved, is back in her life. As Lara Jean reconnects with John through letters and a reunion of their childhood friends, she finds her heart pulled between the boy she's with and the boy she used to be certain about.

The second book in Jenny Han's To All the Boys trilogy is a tender, bittersweet story about first relationships, jealousy, forgiveness, and figuring out what — and who — you really want.
