Synopsis

In a world where knighthood is reserved for boys, Keladry of Mindelan is determined to break tradition. As the first girl to train for the prestigious knightly order in the realm of Tortall, she faces immense prejudice and a grueling probationary year. Despite the constant hazing and the outright opposition of the training master, Kel's resilience and courage will soon prove that gender is no barrier to honor and bravery.
