Paul Lynch is an Irish novelist, born in Limerick in 1977 and raised in County Donegal. He worked as a film critic and journalist before publishing his debut novel, Red Sky in Morning, in 2013, followed by The Black Snow, Grace, and Beyond the Sea. His fifth novel, Prophet Song, won the 2023 Booker Prize. He lives in Dublin.
