Synopsis

Twenty-three-year-old Maya Killgore has spent years trying — and failing — to get Conor Harkness out of her head. He's older, guarded, and, worst of all, her big brother Eli's best friend, which as far as Conor is concerned makes anything between them completely off-limits. He'd clearly prefer she keep her distance.

Then a family wedding strands them together for a week at a villa in Sicily, surrounded by ancient ruins, long dinners, and far too many opportunities to test his resolve. Convinced a no-strings summer fling might be exactly what she needs, Maya sets out to call Conor's bluff — and starts to suspect that his stubborn refusals are hiding feelings, and reasons, he won't admit to.

The second book in Ali Hazelwood's Not in Love series, Problematic Summer Romance is a steamy, sun-drenched age-gap romance about wanting the one person you're not supposed to have.
