Principia Ethica
Principia Ethica (1903) is G.E. Moore's landmark work in analytic ethics, arguing that "good" is an indefinable simple notion and cannot be defined through naturalistic terms without committing the naturalistic fallacy. The book also develops intuitionism as a theory of moral knowledge and examines hedonism and idealism as competing models for constructing ethical systems.
