Poonachi is a tale of a goat, but her story is humanised. This story is about animal but it's not meant for children. A must read if you like Animal Farm. Life in a village is depicted with beauty. Thr ordeal of a female is expressed so vividly. You can feel every thought of the characters, whether human or not. I loved this book. Beautiful writing and complex tale but very simple to understand.
