Synopsis

As the campaign against "harmful" fiction intensifies, Mikio Hibino fights to keep Dark Walker — and his right to make it — alive against publishers, committees and public pressure that would rather it quietly disappear. The concluding volume of Tetsuya Tsutsui's Poison City (Yūgai Toshi) follows the case to its resolution, laying bare the workings and the absurdities of the censorship system.

A semi-autobiographical thriller about freedom of expression, drawn from Tsutsui's own experience after his manga Manhole was officially designated a "harmful book" in Nagasaki Prefecture.
