Persistence

In the summer of 2009, writers Ivan Coyote and Zena Sharman compiled a collection of stories from their favorite queer authors to expand the conversation around butch and femme identities. This anthology, Persistence: All Ways Butch and Femme, features diverse voices that resist simple definitions and defy reductive stereotypes. It offers an insightful, sexy, and sometimes dangerous exploration of what butch and femme can mean in today's evolving gender landscape, reflecting on both the past and future of these identities.
