Menjengah masa lalu dan buat aku rindu. \n\nAda beberapa puisi yang aku gemar--\n\n1. puisi duka untuk anak di desa yang sakit ketika ibunya mencari kerja di kota-- tentang seorang perempuan bernama Sri Hardini dan jalanan hidupnya pada satu hari waktu keluar mencari kerja. Naratif yang penuh perasaan-- kecewa, bahagia dan ditimpa bala. Baitnya dari satu syot ke satu syot seakan filem lama sedang dimainkan di panggung, sentimental dan klasik. Bertiang moraliti dan harapan, puisi ini masih berlegar-legar di dalam kepala aku. \n2. di matanya duka berdesir di jiwanya luka mengalir-- puisi sepi yang buat aku berfikir panjang. Tentang musibah dan cita-cita yang tak kesampaian. Cerita puisinya amat teliti, bermain emosi dan humaniti. \n3. ais-- entah kenapa suka yang ini tapi misi mencari kopi dan rokok dan gambaran warung yang ditemu waktu malam itu sedap sekali dibaca. \n \"sebagai ganti kopi dan rokok \n warung itu menawarku ais\n kiub sepi yang sempurna\"\n4. suara lain (untuk octavio paz)-- sisipan biografi octavio paz dalam bahas puisi penulis sangat menarik. Suka cara penulis menyampaikan rasa 'kagum'. \n5. stesen-- suka ayat pembukanya; \"dalam hidup kita ada landasan menghala ke negeri diri\". Puisi sarat tersirat tentang satu kehidupan, ada stesen-stesen yang disinggah dan ditinggal (seperti rasa dimarahi secara senyap-senyap). \n6. sajak berpuasa-- ringkas, padat dan comel. \n\nSuka gaya tipografi pada puisi-puisi (paling gemar bila penulis guna huruf kecil, dua kosa kata yang dirapatkan dan gerak baris pada karya beliau).
