Love how personal it goes-- letters and heartfelt confessions, guilt and trust, perhaps a little revenge and grudge. Lovely friendship to a big messing up.
I could imagine all the scenes from Sae to Yuka to Asako. Can't stop reading all the stories-- love how it was arranged in accordance to each person with title suited to each one of them. The real story behind the murder, the penance and discoveries, the after effect-- lovely written. How the story flows really gripped my attention, the emotion behind all the tragedies really well disclosed.
It was sad to learn that few of the girls having a not so happy ending for what had happened in the past. How tragic it goes to Sae and Akiko especially. I sigh a lot, like really. Devastated.
And still, I love this book so much. The translation was great too, a very easy read. Hoping to read more from this author!
