Synopsis

Pen Pal is a dark, paranormal romantic thriller from J.T. Geissinger. The day her husband is buried, Kayla Reece receives a letter from a prison inmate she's never met, signed only "Dante Alighieri." What begins as a strange correspondence grows into something she can't explain — not least because she's also falling for Aidan, the roofer repairing her late husband's house, while unsettling occurrences pile up around her. Told with an unreliable narrator and an epistolary thread running through it, the novel builds to a twist that recontextualizes everything that came before. It's the first of two books; the story concludes in Pen Pal: Afterlife.
