Payback

Payback is the second novel in Kimberley Chambers' Butler family crime saga, following on from The Trap. The Butler brothers are the kings of the East End, living by the code that what goes around comes around — but when the truth about the death of Vinny's cousin comes to light, it shakes the family to its core, turning friends and relatives against him one by one.

Then the unimaginable happens: Vinny's little daughter Molly, the one bright spot in the family's violent world, goes missing. As the Butlers close ranks to find her, old betrayals resurface and the family's loyalty is tested to its limit.

Set among the pubs, lock-ups and rivalries of Essex and East London, Payback is a fast-paced, gritty tale of revenge, treachery and family ties from a Sunday Times number-one bestselling author.
