Synopsis

Rigg can see the paths of all living things, a gift that becomes a curse when it leads to tragedy. After his father's death, he's forced to flee his home, embarking on a journey to find a sister he never knew. Along the way, he gathers unlikely companions and learns more about his unique abilities and the dangerous world he inhabits.

His novel Ender's Game (1985) and its sequel Speaker for the Dead (1986) both won Hugo and Nebula Awards, making Card the only author to win both science fiction's top U.S. prizes in consecutive years.
