Passion or Penalty

Melanie Taylor has spent five years living down the humiliation of a drugged-up video confessing her feelings for Weston Kershaw, her brother's best friend and a rising professional hockey star. When Weston gets traded to the D.C. Eagles and lands in her city, avoiding him stops being an option — and Melanie quickly realizes the spark between them isn't the one-sided embarrassment she's spent years convincing herself it was.

Leah Brunner opens the D.C. Eagles Hockey series with a best friend's-little-sister romantic comedy built on an awkward confession finally getting a second chance.
