Hisashi Kashiwai
Hisashi Kashiwai is a Japanese author born in Kyoto in 1952. A graduate of Osaka Dental University, he continues to practice dentistry at his family's Kyoto clinic alongside writing. He is best known for the Kamogawa Food Detectives series, which NHK adapted into a television drama in 2016, and also writes mystery fiction under the pen name Kashiwagi Keiichiro.
