Synopsis
In the shadow of an ancient evil known as the Drughr, eight-year-old Marlowe — whose rare power to emit a deadly blue light has made him both a target and a hope — is brought into the care of Cairndale Institute. There he meets other Talents: Charlie, who can heal any wound; Alice, a private investigator hunting dangerous individuals with similar abilities; and others each hiding their own burdens. As an investigation into the Drughr's influence in London escalates, Marlowe must decide how far his power — and his loyalty to those around him — will take him.
