I was pleasantly surprised by this book. Despite the vast differences between me and the protagonist, I felt a strange level of connection to her story. Maybe it was just the right book at the right time, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. The pacing was fast, the characters felt real, and there was a twist I definitely didn’t see coming. Plus, with it being under 400 pages, it was a quick and engaging read.
