One Perfect Couple

Lyla, a struggling research scientist, is talked into joining her actor boyfriend on a new reality TV show: five couples marooned on a remote, idyllic desert island, competing to be voted the one 'perfect couple.' It sounds like a free holiday and a shot at fame.

Then a catastrophic storm cuts the island off from the mainland, the crew disappears, and the contestants are left stranded with no way to call for help. When one of them turns up dead, it becomes horribly clear that not everyone will make it off the island alive.

As supplies dwindle and paranoia rises, Lyla has to work out who among the beautiful, desperate strangers around her can be trusted. Ruth Ware's One Perfect Couple is a tense, twisty survival thriller — reality television by way of And Then There Were None.
