Isabel Ibañez is a Bolivian American author born in Boca Raton, Florida, to Bolivian immigrant parents who raised her speaking Spanish at home to preserve her heritage. Before writing full time she worked as a graphic designer and letterpress printer, founding 9th Letter Press in 2013. She now lives in Asheville, North Carolina.
