Synopsis

It would always be summer on the island. Thirty-year-old English teacher Anna Emerson accepts a summer job tutoring seventeen-year-old T.J. Callahan in the Maldives. Their journey takes a terrifying turn when their seaplane crashes, leaving them stranded on an uninhabited island. As days stretch into years, Anna and T.J. must survive together, facing not only the elements but also the complexities of their evolving relationship as T.J. grows from a boy into a man.
