I love the audiobook. The author is so descriptive and colorful and creative with how they put words together but the people who read the book bring it alive. As Puerto Rican having done research on my culture I have to say she also included so much true information about the island. Allowing the island to come alive in the story. The story itself made me emotional I cannot say why because I don't truly know why but it was a good emotional. It makes me immediately want to seek out other books by her. And hopefully other audiobooks by her because if they are all read in this way I know I'm going to enjoy it.
