Of Earth and Flame

Aileana has spent her whole life confined to a tower, groomed to become the king's son's wife — until the day arrives and she runs instead, daggers in hand and freedom the only goal. Xander has survived alone his entire life and needs no one, least of all a mate, but crossing paths with a fierce, desperate elf changes everything he thought he wanted. Forced into an alliance to survive the king's pursuit, the two go on the run together through a world built on danger and buried magic.

Elayna R. Gallea opens The Ithenmyr Chronicles with a Rapunzel-inspired, slow-burn enemies-to-lovers high fantasy full of fated mates, fake marriage, and richly built world detail.
