Synopsis

In 1943 Copenhagen, ten-year-old Annemarie Johansen's world is turned upside down by the Nazi occupation. When her best friend Ellen Rosen, who is Jewish, must go into hiding, Annemarie is thrust into a dangerous mission to protect her. Facing fear and uncertainty, she must find the courage to help save Ellen's life.
