Synopsis

Now We Are is the third and final book in Monique Medved's Nate and Nora series, following Before We Were and Then We Became.

Nora moved to Los Angeles seven years ago, building a new career and a new relationship far from her hometown of Eden and the relationship that fell apart there. Nate stayed behind, got sober, and slowly rebuilt his life, but never fully let go of what he and Nora once had. When a death in the family forces Nora back to Eden, she and Nate are thrown back together, and everything that went unresolved between them resurfaces.

The novel closes out the trilogy as a second-chance romance grounded in grief and recovery rather than a clean reunion — both characters have to reckon with who they've become in the years apart before they can decide whether there's a future together.
