I have heard so much about this book, and the fact that I got an email asking for a review on the audiobook. Welp here I am 😁! I will say, this might be one of my top 10 reads this year. Here are my reasons why.
I love everything about this book. The characters’ development, how the plot portrays, Nisha did an amazing job with this story and as someone who’s a first timer with her books. I am down to read more of her books again in the future.
Soneela Nankani 👏 around of applause for her when she did this audiobook. Her emotions and how she narrated this was a chef’s kiss 💋. Words can’t not express how I was stunned over this performance. Even as a single narrator, she made this book have a fun time.
Any flaws on this book? I will say the audiobook was just on peak. I enjoyed it so much and even though there are some spots (plot wise) where it felt draggy for a bit. The development wasn’t that bad. The performance really felt like a bonus that I’m glad I got to enjoy this experience more than usual.
My honest rating is a 4.75 ⭐️. Rounded up to 5 ⭐️ if there is no quarter ratings.
Big thank you to NetGalley, Hachette Audio, and Nisha for offering me this ALC!
