Not my girl
Margaret, a young Inuit girl, returns home from a residential religious school only to find herself a stranger to her own mother and community. Years away have stripped her of her language and traditional skills, leaving her unable to connect with her heritage or even stomach her mother's food. Her only solace comes from the books she learned to read at school, as she navigates a world where she no longer belongs.
