No Roses For Sharon
Jabez and Sharon grow up as childhood friends, and by the time Jabez works up the courage to declare his love, a young doctor has already swept Sharon off her feet. Heartbroken, Jabez pursues medicine himself in Canada, partly to win her back, while Sharon's marriage collapses and a second relationship leaves her disillusioned. When she turns back to Jabez, his mother — convinced Sharon is only after his prospects — has already chosen someone else for him, forcing Jabez to choose between the woman he has always loved and the family expected of him.
