Nightfall and Other Stories (1969) is a collection of twenty previously published science fiction short stories by Isaac Asimov, including his acclaimed novella Nightfall and the unsettling tale The Blinding. Each story is prefaced with an introduction from Asimov explaining its history or how it came to be written.

Asimov was born sometime between October 4, 1919 and January 2, 1920 in Petrovichi in Smolensk Oblast, RSFSR (now Russia), the son of a Jewish family of millers.
