Night Fever

Jonathan Webb can't sleep during a business trip abroad, so he wanders the city at night instead — and falls under the spell of Rainer, a magnetic, dangerous stranger who shows him a hidden nocturnal world without limits. As the thrill curdles into real danger, Jonathan is forced to confront how much of the darkness Rainer reveals was already inside him.

Ed Brubaker and Sean Phillips draw on Jekyll-and-Hyde territory for this Patricia Highsmith-inflected noir thriller, asking whether a person is defined by what they do or who they are underneath it.
