Synopsis

As a psychologist, Mallory Blake understands that sometimes you have to let go — she just doesn't know how to do it herself. After losing her husband, she moved to San Francisco hoping distance might loosen grief's grip, and now pours herself into her young hospital patients, including a frightened six-year-old named Davey. Davey's stubborn, closed-off neurosurgeon, Justin Whitmore, doesn't think Mallory's approach will help his patient — until the boy proves him wrong. Drawn together by their shared worry for Davey, Mallory and Justin find that healing someone else's wounds means confronting their own.
