Synopsis

On a continent torn between the nations of air, fire, earth and water, there is only one place where a conscript's magic can be Awakened: Never Keep. Every year the warring powers send their own into it, and every year the Keep grinds them against each other.

Caroline Peckham and Susanne Valenti build Sins of the Zodiac in the same world as Zodiac Academy, but separated by continents and time — no prior reading required. This is the darker, more villainous branch of that world: tainted souls, blood-soaked trials, and an enemies-to-lovers dynamic between people with real reasons to hate each other.

It is a long, explicit adult romantasy with multiple points of view, and the opening book of a planned series.
