Namor (2024-2025) #1

Years into a prison sentence for crimes against the surface world, Namor has made peace with staying locked up rather than returning to the sea. That peace ends when Attuma's forces attack his prison, and Stingray arrives to warn him that seven warlords are now vying to rule a leaderless Atlantis — a coming "World War Sea" that threatens catastrophe for land and ocean alike.

Jason Aaron intercuts the present-day crisis with flashbacks to a young, arrogant Namor already treated as an outsider on the surface because of his heritage, setting up a series-long look at what shaped Atlantis's most volatile ruler.
