Nailbiter

In the small town of Buckaroo, Oregon, the local serial killer population has reached an alarming sixteen — each one dubbed a "Buckaroo Butcher" by the media. The latest is Edward Charles Warren, a killer known as Nailbiter for his gruesome habit of mutilating his victims' fingernails. When FBI agent Charles Carroll goes missing while investigating him, his friend and NSA colleague Nicholas Finch takes over the case, and the investigation leads him into the dark history of the town itself.
