My Sister's Grave

Published
2014

Synopsis

Sarah Crosswhite disappeared on a rain-soaked road in the small Cascade mountain town of Cedar Grove, and a local man went to prison for her murder without a body ever being found. Her sister Tracy never believed the case, and the doubt reshaped her life: she became a Seattle homicide detective largely so she could learn how a case like Sarah's gets built and broken.

Twenty years later, hunters find Sarah's remains. The discovery gives Tracy what she has been waiting for, a reason to force the conviction back open. Cedar Grove does not want it opened. The people who buried the truth are still there, still powerful, and still willing to keep it buried.

Robert Dugoni's first Tracy Crosswhite novel is part small-town mystery, part courtroom drama, and part portrait of grief that has hardened into purpose.
