I don’t know how many historical romance books I've read with the same storyline of a 'scarred, brooding hero' and a 'heroine who sees beyond the scars and gruff demeanor,' but I fall in love with each one of them every time.

It was so sweet yet deeply moving; I laughed a lot, and I loved how the author handled Alexander's disability. 

If all the heroines in this series have as much personality as Kitty, I’ll probably end up reading and loving every single book
