Synopsis

Roos Beckman sees a spirit companion, Ruth, who is the only light in her life. When a wealthy widow named Agnes visits Roos' seance, they form a connection. Roos is soon invited to Agnes' crumbling estate, where a haunting illness, strange smells, and mysterious statues suggest something dreadful is lurking. Despite the unsettling atmosphere, the attraction between Roos and Agnes is undeniable. But when a murder occurs, Roos becomes the prime suspect, and she must uncover the truth to save herself.
