Synopsis

On the luxurious interstellar liner HMS Fairweather, where new bodies are provided upon request and minds are preserved in the Library, detective Dorothy Gentleman wakes in an unfamiliar body to find a murder has occurred. When she discovers that minds are being permanently deleted, Dorothy realizes a far more sinister plot is underway. With her brilliant but chaotic nephew and the ex-girlfriend of her current body as potential suspects, Dorothy must solve this impossible case before the mastermind behind three centuries of schemes strikes again.
