Synopsis

Libby Mason is twenty-seven, working as a publicist in London, and torn between two very different men. Nick is a struggling writer — funny, warm, and utterly broke — while Ed is a wealthy investment banker who can offer her the security and lifestyle she has always wanted, in spite of his questionable moustache.

As Libby juggles both relationships, she finds herself weighing passion against comfort, torn between what her heart wants and what her head insists is the sensible choice. When Ed's intentions turn serious and diamonds enter the picture, Libby can no longer avoid the decision.

A frothy, funny take on the classic dilemma between love and financial security, Mr. Maybe follows Libby's missteps and self-discovery through London's dating scene with the wit and warmth that made Jane Green a bestselling voice in romantic comedy.
