Lauren Blakely is an American author of contemporary romance and romantic comedy. A Brown University graduate who worked as a journalist, she wrote young adult fiction under the pen name Daisy Whitney — beginning with The Mockingbirds (Little, Brown, 2010) — before self-publishing her first romance novel, Caught Up in Us, in January 2013.
