Synopsis

James Bond is sent to investigate Hugo Drax, a wealthy industrialist and national hero who is funding a revolutionary missile defense system for Britain. After a suspicious card game at a private club, Bond uncovers a deadly conspiracy hidden beneath the surface of Drax's patriotic project. With the clock ticking, 007 must stop a catastrophic attack on London before the Moonraker is launched.

In all, he wrote thirteen James Bond novels. The twelfth, You Only Live Twice, is published in hardcover by New American Library; the thirteenth, The Man with the Golden Gun, was published in the spring of 1965. Mr. Fleming died August 12, 1964, at the age of fifty-six.
