Moon Gate

In 1939, English heiress Grace Grey falls for her Irish neighbor Daniel in wartime Tasmania — a romance cut short when Daniel leaves for the front, carrying a secret that will haunt the house they both loved. In 1975, artist Willow Hawkins and her husband Ben inherit that same Tasmanian house and start piecing together its buried history. In 2004, Ben's daughter Libby finds an old photograph in London that finally unravels what happened decades earlier.

Amanda Geard's "Moon Gate" moves between Tasmania, Ireland, and London across three timelines, using a wartime secret and an inherited house to connect three generations of a family whose fates turn out to be more entangled than any of them realize.
