Synopsis

The ruthless rivalry between the Blackwell twins, Eve and Alexandra, has been a bitter feud for decades — and the sequel to Sidney Sheldon's Master of the Game picks up where that battle left off, now fought by their children. Lexi, the kinder twin, has survived a kidnapping and assault that left her deaf, and must rebuild her life and career while her cousin Max, Eve's son, schemes to destroy her and seize control of the family empire. As the two sides clash in a high-stakes battle for the company, Lexi finds herself drawn into a dangerous entanglement with Gabriel McGregor, a powerful businessman whose own family is murdered and whose company becomes caught in the crossfire. Told through multiple points of view, the novel blends corporate intrigue, betrayal, and a slow-burning romance against a backdrop of ruthless ambition and old family grudges.
