Synopsis

Six people with connections to crime writing, all down on their luck, are invited by the secretive Midwinter Trust to spend Christmas in the remote Yorkshire village of Midwinter. The trustees have designed a bespoke murder-mystery game: solve the killing of fictional crime writer Kristy Winkelman and win a prize that could change the winner's fortunes for good. But as a snowstorm cuts the village off, a real murder interrupts the fictional one.
