Synopsis

Forced into a hasty midnight marriage as children — Julian sixteen, Deb barely twelve — the two were separated immediately, and Julian sent into exile. Nine years later, Julian returns to England to claim the bride he barely knows, only to find her living an independent life, unaware they are already married. He must win her acceptance on his own merit, though she has no choice in the matter at all — the future of the Roxton dukedom depends on it. Inspired by real events, this Georgian-era romance is book two of Lucinda Brant's Roxton Family Saga.
