Synopsis

When Jamie McDonald confides in his uncle Cameron — the town's police chief — that he helped his dying wife end her life, Cameron must choose between family loyalty and his oath of office. The ensuing legal battle pits a small-town community against itself as the case moves through the courts.

She graduated from Princeton University with a degree in English and holds a master's degree in education from Harvard University. She lives in Hanover, New Hampshire, with her husband and their three children.
