Synopsis

In 1943 Prague, Jewish Christian Anna Zadok has lost nearly everything to the war, clinging only to her grandmother and her forbidden violin. When a Nazi officer is billeted below them, Anna must keep a low profile, but her music unexpectedly soothes him. As the officer, Horst Engel, finds himself drawn to Anna's resilience and the beauty of her music, he risks everything to protect her and her grandmother from deportation. Anna finds herself falling for the brave officer, but a secret he holds could shatter their fragile trust and silence her melody forever.
